Choosing Memories
To begin, select a small number of personal memorabilia. We recommend starting with:
- Five special photographs
- Three songs
- Two videos
Consider the stories or moments that are most important to you and those you most want to remember and share.
For each chosen item, ask yourself: Why did I choose this? What is it? How do I feel when I see this photo, hear this song, or watch this video? Remember, there are no right or wrong answers—whatever feelings this memory evokes, feel free to explore them!

-
Share
It may be helpful to share the chosen memorabilia with a friend, loved one, or carer and discuss with them its significance and what you are feeling at the moment.
-
Comment
When you're ready, use the InspireD reminiscence app to record why these memories are important to you.
-
Invite
Invite family and friends and others to add comments or record voice notes about their own feelings or memories tied to the memorabilia.
Some users have found it helpful to use the InspireD reminiscence app at family/social events to create new memories. At home, keep it nearby to reminisce as a focused activity with others.

Keep it precious
Try to avoid using the app to store all personal memorabilia. Stick to those that are tied to important memories or feelings. The app is designed as a protected place for precious memories and not as a digital storage device.
